Lion's mane triple extract tincture

Triple extract tincture made from lion's mane fruiting bodies. Extracted in alcohol and water, and combined for a tincture that contains the full spectrum of beneficial compounds found within the lions mane mushroom.
 
Lion's mane has been shown in studies to promote nerve growth and repair, it is known as the brain boosting mushroom due it's reported benefits to cognitive function and reducing the risks of neurological impairment. Some of the clinical studies conducted to research lion's mane's health benefits have looked into the treatment of dementia, neuropothy, and improving memory. Lion's mane has been shown to have unique compound which promote Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) within the brain. Reseach is still ongoing.
 
All Lion's mane is grown organically by us in Paignton. For our extraction we use 95% alcohol and a soxhlet apparatus to extract the alcohol soluable compounds. We then perform 2 hot water extractions using distilled water at increasing temperatures to extract all the water soluable compounds. We specially grow liquid cultures mycelium in addition to the fruiting bodies which we extract to combine within our lions mane tinctures. This is so that the benefitail erinacean compounds are extracted too resulting in a tincture with a fuller spectrum of sort after mediciabl compounds. These extracts are then combined together to create a triple extract tincture at 30% alcohol, with a mushroom concentration ratio of 1:2.5 which translates to a strength of 390mg of dried mushroom fruiting body and 10mg of extracted liquid culture per mililitre of tincture. 
 
It is recommended to consume between 1 and 2ml a day
